"Those fools!" said Lord Quixote (A fine joke isn't it!), "They should know it's impossible to take the castle from this side of the mountains!"
"But sire their army is huge!" said the court scribe, "Surely we are doomed."
"Oh no, scribe," explained Quixote, "it matters not how big their army is, it's totally impossible to reach the keep from that side of the mountains, and if they use archers and siege equipment our crossbows and ballistae will take care of them easily. No, they'll definitely not be victorious this day."
"Well I feel much better," sighed the scribe, although his doubts were still not totally quashed.
In the distance a horn sounded, the siege had begun!

Don't worry it isn't as hard as it sounds, like all true siege maps it's definitely not impossible. :-D
Ok so I'm new here and this was the first map I downloaded. I have to say it was hardly unbeatable, I did it the first time out in fact with only 20% lost troops. 5 engineers and the rest swordsman. A few well placed rocks and the first tower comes down. after that a dead cow or 2 takes out your tightly packed crossbowmen. Anyhow I'm going to try some more maps and hopefully they have more challenge to them. I'm new but it seems to me claiming any map is unsiegable is just asking for defeat. :)

Yeah, so. Balistas? Not even a problem. I mock your map. Mwa ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!.................Um, not really. As far as sieges go this one was average. I only lost 10% of my army, most of which were Macemen and Pikemen. I had a couple of trebuchets and the balista, in the words of MC Hammer, can't touch them! Good map, though you shouldn't say impossible if it's not impossible.

Yeah, it isn't that difficult, I just used 5 engineers to smash up that wall that sealed off the way straight to the keep, the one by the swamp. Used trebuchets but they didnt work, so I just used catapults. Your balistae didn't work because I moved just out of their reach and then proceeded to pummel your castle from afar. After that I sent about 14 pikemen to finish off the rest of the wall that stood. About 4 made it, 10 others died. After a few pokes with my pikemen, I had a clear path to the keep. I raided your keep with about 180 men, and your crossbowmen didn't stand a chance. I must say that the tiny wall provided my men with much needed cover from your crossbowmen. Who would have thought that the thing that saved my men was your poor design?
