Map Size: 300x300 (Medium)
Difficulty: Impossible
==========Your Job==========
This is more of a... skill pratice map, you have to defend the maze against enemy archers, swordsmen and macemen with archers and oil engineer.
The maze is very think at the begining, as you can see, it turns thiner and thiner.
there are 10 invasions, from 3 swordmen and 1 archer to 30 swordmen and 12 archers and 2 macemen.
you need to let your people eat food and get money from them and hire arb archers or you can buy some pitch and pour pitch on the ground to burn the enemies.
your fletcher, pitch and wood makers are very very far from your stock piles, so it will take a while until it reaches the stock pile.
you can only trade pitch.
there are two flamethrower trapped inside the moutains, save him! but there are walls blocking it, so there are two ways to save him;
1: tell your king to break the walls
2: click your flamethrower/archer, and then click the sword button (attack) and then click on the walls, your archer/ flamethrower will start hitting the walls with their daggers.

put a few archer on the front towers, and fire at the enemy archers when any came.

do not put more much defence to defend the front line, the front line is too thick,you'll need to put a lot of fire to burn the enemy. put your engineers as front as possible, because as the walls are getting thiner, the oil will be poured on to the walls or the other side of the walls(bug) and it will not burn the enemy.

lollard97367 Ill play it when I get home from work. Cold, rainy October day - great day to play stronghold crusader and run up cruel taxes!

EvilerCheese This map looks like wicked fun! I was going to make a map something like it but it seems you've beaten me to it ^^ I'm definitely going to download and enjoy playing this map!
lollard97367 Im not sure if you wanted me to rate it or not. You probably are just wanting feedback in comment form. I wouldnt want to get (or give) a low rating because a map is really still in its test phase. So,

I played the map and I like the idea of a maze out of castle wall in a twisting shape, thus causing the computer invading forces to "walk" the maze towards (finally) the keep at the end. I really didnt understand why all the starting buildings were spread out all over the map, I guess to make the player watch multiple areas for resource and building management. I think that it could be set up differently, with one small semi-permanent camp with a pitch pit in the center under careful management. Then the walls and hallways could be replaced with a natural box canyon with steep walls (steep enough to not climb up). The whole area could be like a "lost world" or dinosaur era fern covered landscape. With one side (the invaders) be a rival gang or tribe that attacks the tribe (Player one) who has discovered "fire". The tribe with the fire has set up braziers in defensive patterns along the natural walls of this canyon where they live. The enemy tribe (like a mix of spearmen and slingers, maybe a bow or two like your balance now but light troops) would attack in waves against the fire using defenders. As the enemy wears down the pitch of the defenders, it can be relaced by the natural pool at the end of the canyon (where the semi permanent camp is). Using a prehistoric theme, you could develop this map into a front pager with realism and story.

Anyways, the map is "OK" the way you have it. If you are just going to go with the map in its current form, let me know and maybe I'll make one. If you leave it, then you should attempt to make it look a little less like a basic maze, and encourage the defenders to come up the ground floor (maybe a stone resource here) level to fight as well. Just throwing out ideas. If you leave it as is and submit it as a final draft with little or no changes I would give it around a 3.8
