--Introduction--
The evil Sherrif of Nottingham rules his lands with cruelty. Only the brave Robin Hood stands up to the Sherrif and with his men plans to sneak into the Sherrifs castle and kill him. You command Robin Hood and his merry men as they fight the Sherrif.
--Story--
In the tale of Robin Hood, a cruel and ruthless lord, known as the Sherrif of Nottingham, has brought misery to his lands, with high taxes, and brutal killings of those who do not pay up. Only the brave Robin Hood and his band of merry men dare to stand up to the Sherrif. Robin Hood steals from the rich and gives to the poor so that they may pay the cruel taxes that the Sherrif imposes. When travelling near the Sherrif's castle under the noses of his guards, Robin met and fell in love with a lady of the court known as maid Marion. The Sherrif desires maid Marion for himself, and so sends his men to hunt down and kill Robin Hood. Robin Hood quicly learns of the Sherrif's plans, from the villagers of Nottingham, who despise their cruel lord and so provide Robin Hood with information. Robin and his merry men decide that they must sneak into the Sherrif's castle and kill him, to put an end to his cruelty and ruthlessness once and for all. You command Robin Hood and his merry men as they fight the Sherrif and his men. Will you succeed and restore Nottingham to good order? Or will you die trying...
--Objectives--
1. Kill the sherrif.
2. Don't let the lord (Robin Hood) die.
--Other Information--

Playability: 4.5
it's 4.5 because it is a hard map, but i founded out that it should be possible if you use a lot of tunnel diggers to bring down their towers, gates and walls(because there arent any stones to mine) and then kill them with your pikemen.i dont think spearmen can really do anything but you should add them because robin hood's merrymen DO use spears and spearmen DO move faster than pikemen. but why is robin hood an arb king? well he isnt a guy with armours but arb king still looks a bit.. odd.
Balance: 4.5
it would be lower but i founded out that even macemen and crossbowmens can not really survive under the fire of archers(82 of them when you start the game)
even if the enemy macemen get close, they will still be killed by the pits(only if you builed them)
Creativity: 5
a pretty good map with good creativity and in the game you have to beat the strong enemies with your weak pikemen&spearmen.(because 1 macemen can kill a pikeman if you dont belive it then try it yourself)
Map Design: 5
i got nothing too say because the map design was just ALSOME!
Story/Instructions: 5
You've got a very long story and used the sheriff in it.

were they on the edge of the map or ontop of eachother? coz if they were on the edge or one on top of another then some automatically dissapear. I found that out while doing my "Flood Plains" map. |

I played this map. I will rate it in the near future, as soon as I beat it. One thing is that you are limited in troop selection. You end up making tunnelers for most of your army. Its also hard to build up one because the enemy crossbowmen are constantly prowling around. If you use a combo of archers, tunnelers, and spearmen to attack you could get up and in.
Check out my newest creation,
"Battle of Sellwood Bridge"
I just posted it, so it will be coming up on the new files list. Rate it!
