The 28 man's fort

Author File Description
Asterix99
File Details
Map Size: 400x400 (Large)
Difficulty: Hard
Minimap:
The enemy wants to take over this fort.
This can be a very crucial point in this war.If you lose here, we lost the war.

We have lost so many men during this war.But if we can hold this fort we can supply troops to the battlefield and that might be a crucial point to this war.

You have got only 27 archers and 1 lord.
The others went to the city of "Malang" they think the rebel leader lives there.

The king wishes you good luck!

Captain Diablo The name of this map grabbed me into attention. Although you could write a story, maybe some Author's notes as well. It's almost sad when a comment is longer than the map description.

I'll rate this neat sounding map soon.

The actual playability is very gripping. Swarms of spearmen come and fill in the moat, giving some nice moments. This is where you shine, the 27 archers add a nice touch.

Balance: 3
Well... 200 spearmen against 27 archers and some VERY poorly placed killing pits.

Creativity: 2
I've done a variation of this map, though I've never submitted it. If you and me have done it, then other people must of thought of it.

THERE

IS

NONE

Story/Instructions: 1
Oh my God... the story had so much potential, yet all I read is; "Can you defeat the enemy?"

A one is deserving, although I would give you a zero if possible. Same if not more so for the map design...

Additional Comments: Oh come on, this looks like an experiment with walls within land or bridges. I'm sorry to sound so bitter and mean, but, you know.

DON'T GIVE UP! PRACTICE MORE, BUT DON'T SUBMIT PRACTICE MAPS, UNLESS THERE IDEAS THAT NEED TESTING! I'm here to help, so are a lot of people.

Sorry for the bad review.

It was a little fun when they came and start digging. But all you could do was watch. It was only in the end where I could move the archers so i would get more chances of winning. There's a hole in the second and last wall. Was that intended? If so, that only makes the real gate look really bad as they enter at another location

Balance: 3
Well...alot of spearman against 27 archers is not easy... I got killed and i didn't try it again...but i guess there's really no good chances in winning. But i did have hard, so it obviously was harder than normal >.>, so i guess it deserves a 3.

Creativity: 2
Nothing special at all. That bridge and the numbers of archers that connects to the title of the map gives it a 2.

Map Design: 1
As stated before... There is none... It's all sand.... and why the hell did you make it so big?

Story/Instructions: 1
1, and it deserves no more. Just make a little effort, and it'll atleast get a 2.

Additional Comments:
Well, you gotta work on pretty much everything. But just keep practicing, we all were newbs once. And i dunno, maybe i'm still a newb lol.
