The story
Your lands have been the envy of your neighbours for quite some time. Now they have decided to gang up on you and drive you from them. Fortunately the cliffs of Jalil have been your protected for centuries, and once again they will decide the outcome of an attack against you. You have little space to build, lots of high ground and lots of iron, but unfortunately you also have lots of skillful enemies.
The trader has been a friend of yours for so many years and once more he will travel through enemy lands for you to make sure you have the ressources you need to survive.
Trade well and victory shall be yours for sure, trade poorly and count your deads (that is, if you are still alive to count them.
Strategy and gameplay
You need a good protective shell around your keep to survive as the enemy will pound your walls on the harder settings. You need fast moving troops to sally out and kill their siegeequipment, and you need engineers to build the equipment you will need to bring down their walls too.
The game is best played at the hardest difficulty: Total computer advantage, and as a deathmatch game. This will give them 40000 and you 3000. They will wall up fast and build the castles that you will have a hard time breaking down.
Play with the wolf as all 7 opponents. This gives you a good versatile game, as it wont all be about smashing small puny attackgroups (like the rats and pigs) but changing between defense and offense. When the wolf attacks be alert, or be dead. Lay a strategy and don't worry about loosing men.
Authors notes
I haven't thought much about design, but actually I never do. This is actually the map that I have worked the hardest on. I know my design isn't totally great, but it has it's spots. I have placed a highland oasis, and please notice the sanddunes that has made a barrier where grass can grow. Also my rocks has been placed on the foot of mountains, and my iron is also placed near mountains, but not the enemies iron. I needed a place where it would fit in, but couldn't find a better solution.
I know the story isn't overwhelmingly good, but there is more to it in the in-game mapdescription.
The minimap doesn't do the map justice. Unfortunately I couldn't find a way to show a map where the game has already started.... This would be more describing.
Give the map a chance and download it, and then tell me what you think. I have made quite a few maps already but this is my first upload... |

Playability: 5
Playability was great, I played with seven of my friends and the game dragged on for a long time, but it was great to play, with 40,000 gold each, the computers learn over time in the Skirmish to create bigger and badder armys, but before that I killed them
Overall great work

There are a few players that don't have the greatest Oasis or Iron mine, but that's the beauty of teamwork, you have to trade between each other
Creativity: 4
It is a new map, I haven't seen many maps like this but, the already made, albeit small, castle gives you a time to rush unmade ones
Map Design: 4
The only reason you got four was that some places seemed bare to me, and the fact that if you had an already made castle, than you could rush with a few assassins or whatever
Story/Instructions: 3.5
It wasn't the greatest story-line, but the intructions bumped it up
Additional Comments:
It's an overall good map, but it could use some more scenery
