After fighting for the king he recognizes your accomplishments and decides to give you a small piece of land with a castle. A loyal group of soldiers follow you to the castle and renforces the garrison already present there. They greet you with open arms and tell you that a large force of Lord Lemston's(The Snake)men are marching towards the castle. He has wanted the castle for a long time and is now angry that the king has given it to you. His mind has been clouded by greed. He has fielded all of his forces together to make one all out attack. One of the castles head engineers has desterted to his forces and now Lemston knows of your weak points. The enigneer has also sabotaged most of your pitch supply and one of your ballistas. Lemston's men are bringing catapults to help with the seige and ladders to scale your walls. You have a tough time trying to decide how to place your troops around your caslte. Since the Snake can attack from anywhere you spread out your soldiers around the castle with a concentration at the main gatehouse. You send your fastest messengers to ask support from the king, but you know that help will now arrive on time. A small group of outlaws ride in from the countryside to help after you promise to pay them. The rugged terrain will help the defence immenesly. The armory is emptied and all able fighting men are employed. After putting on your armor you see the enemy approaching. The gates are shut and the men prepare for the upcoming battle.
Tips
-The one Ballista is important for enemy seige equipment
-You only have 3 pots of pitch
-Your troops are spread out so lower the gamespeed to move them
-Play on hard for a challenge

Great fun to play, although the castle is small, troop-movement is required.

A bit odd actually, there should be a difficulty level between Normal and Hard for this map, since it's too easy at Normal, but a bit too hard at Hard.

Very nice aqueduct (or whatever it is) inside the castle. Nice custom-towers.

Looked really nice, the landscape was great. The castle was also nice, it actually looks like a castle that could have existed in the medeival period, however, I still feel that the landscape needs more work (not more detail, just more thought and care) and the eye-candy inside the castle strayed away from the otherwise natural-looking map. I'm not a great fan of eye-candy.

Well written and overall good. The tips were perhaps a bit light, but it wasn't a problem.
Additional Comments:
A great siegemap. Definitely worth giving an attempt, or more.
