Well, the full story is in a word file together with the map but here's in short.
The king of the huge kingdom was called "The Rat".
When his wife died he became crazy from grief and started thinking that it was the fault of the kingdom that his wife died.
He placed a curse on the kingdom (NOT explained in full version!) and so it went down by deseases and hunger, poverty, lack on recources and so on.
You take charge of the last piece of the kingdom and build up a castle, make it shine as the capital once did! (and then test your army against "The Rat" his one! useing F1 of course)
Authors notes:
This map kinda came to existence after I downloaded the final Sylvandell battle, it was in green and I liked it so i started using that.
Also this was a practice in making nice round castle's wich i'm planning to develop further.
One thing, this "kingdom" doesn't has any name, just post one here and ill give the first serious name posted to this scenario mentioning you.
oh a few things, not all goods are availiable to buy, this is on purpose(what one?, don't ask me but I think it gets sooo easy when you can buy everything...).
If you intend on keeping your castle, don't ever start a fire event with this way of occupation, it burns you right to the ground.
Huge invasions (200-500) are fun here, the guys just stand still in the start but if you open an close you main gate some times they completely swarm all over the place, very interesting!
Enjoy!
how do you guys get perfect circles? wenever i try to make circles it looks fine from 1 view but its oval in another...

it's very easy actually, just open paint, use the magnefying glass on x6 or x8, hit ctrl+g, now a grid should appear, then, choose the circle tool and draw your circle, then, copy the pixels in wall sections in stronghold.
To check your circle design in paint while having stronghold opened, hit alt+tab, this will minimize the stronghold screen and let you do other things with the game running.

Not that I know, there may be a map that slightly looks like it but this one is my own creation (exept for the name), i haven't used anything from an other map so if anything looks like a map from the LOTR map pack it is coincidence.
