Long ago, the country of Florin was ruled by the wise and benevolent King Rothgor. During the first years of his rule, the country enjoyed a time of peace and prosperity never before seen. Then, everything changed when the first men of the Nagai swept down from the Mountains of Shadow, no longer bandits as in the past, but an army; a powerful, well-trained and organized army.
The king quickly raised an army and marched to meet the enemy at the ancient watchtower of Amon Draal. The battle was long and terrible, and though Amon Draal was destroyed, the battle was won, and the Nagai driven back to their holes. Victory was dear, but worth the losses.
Years past. The king's son Rolan grew in a time of peace, and became a mighty man, popular with the people and soldiers. It appeared that he would succeed his father to the throne. However, the king's evil advisor, Canthor, who was secretly in league with the Nagai, had other plans. He framed Rolan for the murder of the King's Captain of the Guard.
Though he grieved for his son, Rothgor was not above the law, and had no choice but to send his son into exile. With Rolan gone, Canthor saw that now was the time to strike. He murdered Rothgor and took over the kingdom. However, not all was lost. An eye-witness to the king's murder sent word to Gradahmus, general of the Royal Army of Florin. Outraged, Gradahmus gathered his men and marched on the capital of Edlamacus. Canthor's armies were deafeated, but not before he escaped.
With no heir to the throne, Gradahmus and his sons took and oath, that they would rule in the king's stead until the day he or his heir returned. Thus, the Guardians of the Kingship were born. Now, ten years later, Rolan returned to the land of Florin, to the ancient watchtower of Amon Draal, readying his men to set out for the capital.
But not all was well. The traitor Canthor had been furious at losing the throne of Florin, and now tidings had come of Rolan's return. He was driven to insanity by his rage, and marshaled the Nagai to march on Florin. The blood burned with anger in their viens, how they longed for their revenge on Florin! And now, thay were close to making that dream reality. Canthor plans not to take over the throne of Florin, but rather destroy Florin completly.
The fate of Florin, would soon be decided.......
Hi! This is my first map, hope you like it. Please rate it. Even if your rating is bad I want to know, so I can improve.
It was a nice map to play.
Not a good number, I explain you why:
the game ends in the year 1110.-> It took me half a day to finish it.
Second, it was far to easy.
Training several archers was already enough.
Map Design: 4
Every thing was there; mountains, water, trees
and it is a nice picture to look at. Nice!
Nice story, I love that.
The map itself is ok! Only it took too much time play. Have you played the map yourself after finishing?
Next map is better, I'm sure!
