This is a slightly altered map.

It has two entrances to the Castle, giving the attacker more options.

PLAYABILITY:... On defense I simply sallied forth from the castle with about 100 archers and a few macemen to cover them and mowed down the attacking force as it came at me. I dont think I lost more than twenty men but I cant be sure as I was unable to end the game. I waited long after the last enemy had been slaughtered for the victory screen but nada. As the attacker, I utilized part of the 10,000 gold and built about 20 siege engines that reduced the once handsome castle to mere rubble. (Wich took about 2 1/2 hours). When I had whittled down a huge portion of the defenders, and blasted the castle to pebbles, ( I flung at least 30 head of cattle over the walls), I took what remained of my army, (few) and made a banzai death charge at the Keep, only to be horrified at the sight of what looked like over a hundred archers packed on top of the keep like sardines. Well, they mowed me down like grass game over..................Theres also no way to fill the moat in front of the drawbridge as I believe the river was placed on the map under it, so actually theres still only one way in, and thats through the walls. Most of the enemy just stood around and let me slaughter them without much fighting back, wich may indicate the need to use the aggresive stance when building the next map. BALANCE: 2 Too easy on defense, too hard on offense..... CREATIVITY: 4 I think it was very creative, just not emplemented in the right way. Alot of "first siege" type mistakes, but the overall scope of the scenario was very creative......MAP DESIGN: 4 The landscape was very good, and appealing and the castle was very well done and fun to crush. But the "no way in or out" thing bugged me. STORY/INSTRUCTIONS: 2 Not much there just a couple of sentences................Lord Muck, do not get discouraged by these remarks. Everyone has to start somewhere, and I saw alot of potential in your scenario. Every map you make will get better and better, thats the way it goes. Looking forward to your next...
