Map Design4.5
Playability: 4
A very entertaining scenario containing a lot of puzzle elements. I like these kind of mission as usually they need a lot of thinking and careful playing to win, and they are challenging too. Sadly this one missed the challenge, I mean, the scenario was very easy, yet it needed a little thinking and it was tricky, but it was just too easy (for me, to be clear). I could win easily for the first time, even without using the hints. Though I've enjoyed all parts of the map and I like replaying it over and over so it deserves a 4 from me.

Balance: 3.5
As I've said the mission was too easy, I don't write here poems about the balance, I write down only what I think could have been improved the balance: The animals in the forest were a good try to make the way to the knights and the way back to the lord a little harder, however much more could be added to make the risk much higher and force the player to think befre every move. The same with the traps: Some should have been places in the castle and many, many could be placed in the forest. Also, more enemy troops could be placed too, again, making the mission more challenging. Though it is a nice short scenario and good start for a campaign.

Creativity: 5
All puzzle missions deserve a 5 at creativity in my eyes. This scenario is not an exceptation, it shows me how creative the author is and this was the first puzzle mission I've seen, which plays in an open forest, not in a narrow path (expect the beginning in the mountain:P). And here the player has to free some knights to help our hero defeat the red lord. Well done, outstanding creativity!

Map Design: 4.5
Almost outstanding design. The ruins looked cool and the forest was awesome and very natural, I liked its detailed terrain and the shaping of the landscape. The mountains were well-shaped too and the slopes looked very good. However, the mountain-top looked very plain, and as it took a realitvely large part of the map, it is enough to bring down 0.5 from the score. Overall, a fantastic job!:)

Story/Instructions: 4.5
The story was excellent. It was written with care and it reads very well, it tells the history of the mountain and the lands, though it has some misty and "rushed" parts, which I don't really like in stories, but for the first chapter it is excellent as said above.A painting is also present, showing the points of interests in the area. The zip contains a hints file with very clear and useful hints/instructions, the basic instructions are wirtten in the map descritption too, so a 4.5 is well-deserved.

Additional Comments:
Its sad that this campaing was never continued, I would liked to see the development of the story. :(
