Orange Square. A city nearly untouched by the caustic war that rages between you and your nemesis, the malevolent Duke of Worshire. For the past three months the evil Duke has dealt you defeat after defeat with his overwhelming forces. You seek to turn the tide.
You formulate an audacious plan to float a flotilla of ships carrying your troops downriver, and with cooperation with rebels and foreign allies, you may take Orange Square and put your foe in an untenable position. However, you come against an unforseen opponent--
the weather.
Your fleet is annihilated, save for two boatloads of troops. And to make matters worse, you are stranded in enemy territory where he outnumbers you two-to-one. Your allies face similar catastrophes. The rebels are forced into a broken-down keep on a hill and your foreign party is ambushed and nearly destroyed, and now hides in a small alcove with what remains of their number.
Your only shot at success is to somehow reunite your forces and your ally north of you. The Duke has sent the main part of his castle's defenses to deal with the threat of the rebellion, and it is during this narrow window of oppurtunity you must strike-or the full and terrifying might of the castle's defenses may very well wipe your entire army from the face of the planet.
