Those upstart Texans are in rebellion against the Republic of Mexico. Take the part of Mexico and see if you can reverse history, or lead the Texans in their bid for independence. This is a easy balanced map with only two physical features, the Rio Grande and the Davis Mountains. The Rio Grande provides absolutely no barrier to crossing, see todays paper for the truth of that statement. For the sake of playability I placed some iron and stone in areas where they do not exist. This map is open and should be suitable for either single or online play. None of the AI,s should have any problems with this map. Von Kamstra
Played it on gamespy against two humans and one comp. Both the human players quit, but I am not sure why. The map plays fine with no lock ups or unreachable areas.
Being in the top corner, I found that all the iron that was next to my castle starting spot was not available. Maybe that was intended to represent the mexican side of the border.
Good map with lots of natural detail. Like I said, realistic looking landscapes are Von Kamstras specialty.

My only complaint is that people quit when playing it. This could be because they are just QUITTERS or they may have had a prob with the map. Computer opponent didnt seem to have a problem building and attacking me!
Normal effort that earns a 4
Thumbs Up! Download this map and get ready to fight it out on the Rio Grande!
