An archipelago is a cluster or chain of islands, usually far out to sea or open ocean. This map portrays the Thanegioth Archipelago located in the Sea of Dread, south of the Grand Dutchy of Karamiekos (common setting for my maps).
"When the gale ended, we found ourselves approximately seven days normal sailing distance due south of Specularum in the Thanegioth Archipelago. We replenished our supplies, patched up the ship, and traded our remaining goods at native villages along the shores of several islands. Some villages were friendly, but others were hostile and the natives attacked on sight. I suspect the hostile villages were filled with cannibals."

Some more info on the Thanegioth Archipelago
The climate in the Thanegioth Archipelago is tropical but these particular islands of the chain are mostly barren rock and without the usual stretches of thick jungle. You selected this area for its rich iron ore deposits. You established one mine and found its ore of high quality. You decide to make a semi-permanent encampment near this new ore and exploit it. The islanders who live in this part of the archipelago are not of the friendly variety. Thankfully they are not well armed...
(A little too limited options but since that is part of the strategy, nothing to complain really)

A nice map with a good strategic idea. I had many ideas in mind to solve it only to realize that I had no options to build structures for it which forced me to rethink my stgrategy.
