You and your brother have always been rivals. Even now, at the age of 28, you still fight to be the better son. Finally, tired of your bickering, your father approaches the both of you.
"I have a test for the both of you. I am running out of gold in my treasury and I want each of you to tell each other a location in which you must build a castle. The first person to raise 25000 gold in 5 years will be the next ruler of my lands!"
you think of worst location possible. "The dunes of peril!" you say to your brother.
"fine then." Your brother snears, "You must go to the deaden valley!"
Having staked out the rules, you bellow,"Alright you pompous Dotard, ITS ON!!!!"
INSTRUCTIONS:
The deaden valley is a place where the Old Ones once tested an atomic bomb. The river has been turned to marsh, and radiation blows around the valley like sand. (which will cause many strange events) Get 25000 gold ASAP. Your brother will send some "emmisaries" to you to 'check on your progress' every once and a while. There is also talk of 'Marsh people' who lived in the area when the bomb was exploded.
1.Dont mind the lord in the top corner, he's only there so the 'marsh people' will react to your presence.
2. Get apothecaries and barracks set up quickly, as the marsh people do not like visitors.
3. If this is too hard or too easy, please tell me.

This map looks very promising, great story and concept (Dark tower fan?). I'll play and rate.

I can find no win conditions in this scenario. Am I missing something?

Big T, it looks like there's absolutely no way someone can acquire 25000 gold in the time alowed, because virtually nothing can be traded at market. No weapons can be made either, so most gold is spent hiring troops to fend off the enemy. This is still a very cool map, and just needs a some changes to the scripting. I'd love to rate this when it's winable.

Five game years actually suffice for a successful setup under the constant pressure of plagues and invasions.
The concept looks interesting and promising. Perhaps one should change the time limit from 5 to 25 years in the editor? Tree fungus heavily delays a wheat chain expansion.
