Work's well, and like the others, it's fun playing in the middle. I usually don't like being surrounded like that, but it was still fun - i had to try it
Well, for the 5 players at the outer sides of the map, yea its all balanced for them, but the player at the center, has a very small amount of space, and his ressources as the iron and the stone, can be easily taken away by every other player - but i guess that's what made it so fun and challenging. There is also a very limited amount of trees, and they're only made possible for the 4 players in the corners (well, the ones closer to the corners) and the center, the ones that are more on to a side of the map, have no real trees - their lumberjacks will only be killed instantly by archers.
Its a very nice map, with a small bounce in its gameplay to make it more fun and challenging.
Map Design: 1
Here is the real killer. Theway you created your map is shown extentively - same grass everywhere ( so lots of grass for farms and stuff - no challenge), the size the tool used is the biggest, and there is no use of the smallest to smoothen out the rough edges of your map. Work on it abit more. Also, the iron and the stone is used to border the map. Not too much of a good idea
You should try to add a better story. Check the maps with some top rating to see what they got as a story, and also what they got as rating for their story
