Map Size: 400x400 (Large)
Number of Players: 7
Balance: Unbalanced
Difficulty: Hard
Minimap:
7-player map.

Story (as from the invasion map: Last Charge) - based for a 6 vs 1 skirmish:

You have just recently entered the newly conquered town, Akola. You have moved all your troops towards the next town to assist in the next siege, believing that troops will frighten the town’s occupants. Obviously some of its men are happy to change from an Arabian controlled town, to a more European control, but some other are opposed to your arrival and conquer.

Some of them have left the town, hiding in the forest, in the hills and in the dessert, and word is that they are starting to plan attacks against you and your men, if not to reconquer, to disrupt and corrupt the town’s development. There is not question that they will try to hit hard, and not give up too easily.

Your troops that you have already sent are too far to send back for reinforcement, which you feel you will eventually need. You are on your own, in a town where no one can be trusted, and resources needed are scarce. You will obviously need to try to work with these untrusted folks to save yourself, and them.

Although the odds are against you, some of the town’s occupants are ready to give their strength and soul to save the town. You must rebuild the town, create an army to defend it, and keep the moral high for you to survive the next years.

Will you be able to save yourself and your men?

~Instructions~
There are seven places keeps on this map, each bearing different caracteristics. One keep may have more grass, whilst another keep may have access to other ressources. They are as follows (try to guess which keep is what):

-One keep has sole access to half of the map's iron ressources, but limited tree and grass area
-One keep has already numerous houses, which enables him to grow a steady population in the 100+ quite easily, but limited access to iron, very limited access to grass and no access to stone
-Two keeps have more trees and abit more grass to go around, but no iron or stone
-Three keeps have complete access to the stone, but only one of them have a direct path to the iron, and they all have to share the same grass and trees

I do not want to suggest any ways of playing (as in teams) - more than I have with the story - because I want you all to try and explore which area would be your strenght and weakness, and see what kind of teams you can create.

**Map is not suggested to play with AI. Use at your own risk ;)**

The map's fine in this category, but in certain places (like say, the ruins) the AI is clueless, and have "stalled" economies. But that's okay i guess because that happens in many maps. However, even though it's a good map for online play, offline, it's okay.

Balance: 3
Wow . Almost no resources for each player, and the frustrating thing is, there's lots of oasis space but you just can't build farms there. But still, fighting for resources is what I prefer, but this is way too unbalanced for even my tastes.

Creativity: 5
This map is very creative, as not a lot of mapmakers make a map as unbalanced as this. Great job here.

Map Design: 4
I would have given a five, if the grassland was more useable, and if there was more, I don't know, rocks or something in the spaces beteween players. And although the ruins look good, they just make a humongous target for enemy (and sometimes even allied) mangonels. And by the way, how do you make buildings that don't belong to any players?

Story/Instructions: 5
A great story here and good instrucions to go along with the map.

Additional Comments:

A fine map here, but I prefer Open Plains better :p

and guess what? im still trying to beat the invasion!
