This land has been something made of myths, but its majestic beauty has been found by misfit lords, retreating from the Crusades. They wished to build in peace, but after the final Crusade, exploration restarted and the Rizen River was found, again. As lords struggle for control of this land will you be victorious? Or will you be annhilated?

This map is okay for 3vs3 or anyway you want. I played this map mostly freeForAll style. AIs usually have little problems, if any, building, here, on the Rizen River. I would appriciate reviews and comments.

Playability: 4
Very fun to play this map; the fact that you can have an abundance of one and none of another is a concept that forces players to *think* a little, and I appreciate that. The reason this isn't a 5 is that some of the AIs will build awkwardly in a couple of positions (especially the Warchest AI's). That really isn't your fault, but it takes away from the fun just a little bit since it will handicap a few opponents.

Balance: 5

Creativity: 5
I like this style of map. A lot of Skirmish maps here are equal landscapes designed to suit each player equally. While this is good, it's a little too symmetrical for my tastes. I like your style (mine too) of making a landscape and then fitting players on it. It looks more realistic, more natural, and I like it.

Map Design: 4
I really like what you've done with the place, as I said above. Just a few pointers:

* Sand dunes are not likely to appear near rivers; they appear in barren wastelands.

*Dunes are usually higher on one side than the other due to wind.

I was going to say something about rivers, but then I noticed that the river was indeed flowing down a slope. *slaps self*

Story/Instructions: 4
A good story, not an earth-shattering one, but a fairly good job of describing the map.

Good map. I intend to keep this one and use it. :-)

hey thanks for the review duc timothy. the ai problem i had no clue it was there and it played fine with the orignal ais but i dont have warchest so i never knew about those problems. but still, thanks for the pointers.
Duc Timothy Hey, that's fine. Not many people bother with Warchest.

Again, I do like this map. It's really good. :)

Works very well, all the AI i played with worked very well. Having only one entry at either bases is very fun, as it concentrates the attacks to one place, x3 (cuz theres 3 teams on each side)

Balance: 5
It is technically unbalanced, but still close for me. And its good.

Creativity: 5
I like this map for the reason that theres only 1 entry point throught the river. This map is the ones played over the internet. They're straight-foward, but have a simple oibstacle that'll make it that much gooder... i mean bester... oops funner :p

Map Design: 3
I feel its ok map design, but very simple. You've started getting all the right ideas for the terrain, but the rest will come with practice. Make better transitions between terrain-types

Story/Instructions: 5
Short but sweet story. Nice job

Good job! I like your type of map. Keep making them. I was skeptical about the map at first, but the gameplay was awsome. I thank you for the experience :)

thanks Pat Dark Knight . The "made for internet play" thing is funny because i never play online =\. and your right, ill get better at map designing with practice, this is only my 2nd map so yeah . its still a pretty good rating though!
