The happy citizens of the Duchy were busy productive and quite prosperous. Many attributed their prosperity to the sacred city of the Abbott believing that God blessed them through the piety of the Abbott. Centuries of peace left them totaly unprepared for a massive Saracen invasion. The three most prosperous cities located in the plain, fell almost without a battle. The Saracens slaughtered most of citizens and forcibly converted the rest to Islam. A small remnant of the Duchy barely survived on the arid Plateau of the North. The Abbott and the Holy City survived as well as a small city with an economy based on mining and timber. This is the current state of affairs. Your task is to take one of the plateau cities give your ally The Abbott the other. The cities of the plain should be Saladin and Wazir, with either Nizar or Caliph. Thus set up, begin the reconquest. Remember "Vengence is mine saith the Lord" and you are the Lords deputy. Von Kamstra

Playability was great. I played with Richard Vs the arabian lords. Actually was fun. fantastic work. Some of the Ai's woundn't biuld mines and quarries, i guess they got confused

Balance: 5
like i said some Ai's got confused. The Top keeps had a challenge defending thier mines. i loved it. Good balance actually

Creativity: 5
Loved the whole idea of higher and lower features. Outstanding details

Map Design: 5
i liked the way u combined the whole trees and resources to a map. enjoyed the map. The lower keeps weren't exposed to much attacks as little fords were placed and the rivers didn't flow till the end. The troops could simply go around the river even without the ford

Story/Instructions: 5
Enjoyed the story......

Thanks h1_longbowman it is nice to recieve thoughtfull reviews. I am glad you enjoyed it. I only tested it with the AI's I mentioned in the story. They all found the iron and stone with no trouble. Thanks again for the review.

h1_longbowman Mine is an old version of Crusader. Dont hav Ai's like Wazir,Emir etc. I played against The Caliphs, and Saladin. The map was swarming with slaves with a nose for mines. hate those slaves
Yasko Downloading now. Looks great, your terrain layout always looks so realistic. Your minimaps remind me of satellite images!

Thanks Yasko, maybe having a degree in Geology helps. I wasn't sure I would ever use it for anything. I certainly lack the expertise to do a Jolly Green Giant's footprints like you in Lasting Impressions.

Venomrider Hey longbowman if you hat slaves torching your mines put a few macemen on guard mode or some slingers since they do good damage against slaves.
