A varitation on my previous submission, with a few alterations.Hopefully it has a bit more longevity and a few more challenges for the more selective Sieger[?] out there.
Judging by the story, it is meant to be played from the defenders side. I
will review it as such
A fun little map, with a neat castle and lots of action. I recommend it if
you're looking for a quick siege to play
Playability: 4I enjoyed playing it, but it was a bit easy. I had a lot of
fun at the end with cows
Balance: 2
Unfortunately, this map fell victim to poor AI, as the enemy archers and
crossbowman didn't even attack. It was too easy to defend. My archers,
x-bows, and ballistas did most of the work for me, and I only had to order a
few attacks and light a few pitch ditches
Creativity: 4
Very creative map. I liked the whole island thing you had going on
Map Design: 4
Good terrain, castle placement, eye candy, etc
Story/Instructions: 3
Interesting story, but not much in the way of instructions.

The next chapter in the story. Sorry I have to admit I like the first. I found this one to be much too easy on both sides, with easy out tactics of heaps of pitch. As well, there are a few design flaws that need to be sorted out.
*Btw: Ztolk. Im dissapointed in you. 25% lost on Very hard!*
Playablity: I enjoy this as an attacking siege. Its a really great map for that. VERY challanging and very well done. If this was an attacking siege, it would get honours. However, as I said way too much pitch! I found my self knowing that the pitch was in the chokes, and there was nothing I could do about it. (-1 poor pitch placement and over use)
Balance: 25% Very hard on the position the story outlines. Again. The lack of pitch could have made this more challanging. Also, I found a way to recruit extra crossbows, that were conveniantly stuck in the armoury! *+10, ok....so I cant vote for that, but still*
Attacking was well done though. I finished that on Normal with 66% losses. The fact that it will literally defend its self is rather... bad... (-4)
Creativity: Well done. The map looks good and plays good! The AI handles it quite well when defending. You get attacked from 2 sides. Nice change but the lack of original ideas doesnt add anything to it. A few beat up towers in the ruins would have worked. (-1 for lack of new ideas)
Map Design: another great one here. I think that the design of the map was well done, with one exception: There are stairs in the Barbican that lead right up to the walls... no good. I slaughtered everything in there, and used the same force to kill the king. (-1)
Story: Continuing from the last one, same map(+1) but the castle is much too strong for what the story reveals. (-1)
I really liked it overall and with a little debugging, it could be a great siege!
