The first installment of the Starving Campaign. This includes the map and starting story. Let me know of any suggestions you may have. Now... I must get back to continue planning the campaign!

God Avo Well, this map could of gone either one or two ways for me ;)
I could either of started with religion first of both, but before I could, I died ^^
There is very little farmland available, but it is manageable.
I loved this map, and I can't wait for the next missions ^^
Only advice to you would to be to add some more scenery..
I will rate this map, but won't explain why I give the scores, I explained most of everything in this lol

Not much space here for anything, and if you placed buildings on the ground, it was too far for the workers to walk, and had most chance of being destroyed, so quite a weak 3

Balance: 4
The balance of troops you get is fine, for like the first 2 waves, but by then you should be able to of created some extra troops (I did anyway)

Creativity: 1
Nothing very creative here, I gave it a very weak 1

Map Design: 2
Well at least you used a few varying heights, although the keep didn't look good seeing as you could only see half of it :p So this scores a dissapointing 2

Story/Instructions: 5
A very nice, long story.. I loved it!

Additional Comments:
Work some more on the space and scenery, and maybe some more time between attacks ;)

Tjanks for the imput. I have already began to asthetically spice up the next one. Just a question though. It is an invasion and some of the troops I am putting on the map keep disappearing. I've tried almost everything I can think of so if you know what's going wrong could you let me know?
God Avo If your placing troops, well because in crusader it automatically sets it to normal mode, deducting like 20% of your placed troops.. but if troops are coming from the signpost then I had absolutely no idea ;)

OK dumb questions. You'll have to forgive me as I am a newby at making scenarioss etc. How do I get the troops to come in by signpost? I will fidle with the 20% thing as well.
Duc Timothy In the screen where it says "to map", "edit scenario", etc., click on "Edit scenario". Play with that a while. :)
God Avo I'm sorry if I confused you but I men't enemy troops come out from the signpost ;)

Fun! The goals seem so easily attained and yet are always frustratingly just beyond reach.

For me, the key was to demo the existing stockpile (just after building the granary) and rebuilding it on the lower plateau. This greatly speeds production.

Down low, I filled in rock crevices to build a permiter wall to the west and south and placed a gate at the SW corner. I also gated access to the upper plateau, and manned both gates with archers. This handled the incoming attacks pretty easily.

TG I mixed up my farms, so the blights weren't very damaging.

peter2008 Playing this map with a long way up to the stockpile and down again may be horribly challenging. I didn't fancy this and removed the stockpile into the flat land. With the initial goods and gold a solid protection and eco can be set up. Despite of many invasions and bad events nothing could hinder early victory.
