Excellent young Crusader...you also have survive my first order (outpost to enlarge).
May it seemed like a dream for you...now you´re awake and found yourself in the middle of the desert - lost and lonely - Here´s your order: build up a small outpost and abolish a handfull of iron and stone that we need for oure crusade.
Some food? Beware of starvation...and arabian infidels... - whether we ever see us again my companion?

This map was great fun to pay, I only abit of trouble trying to build my building then moving the stockpile along closer to the small bit of oasis.. So I could effectively raise a nice little food stock :p The objectives weren't too hard to meet.. and all in all a good, fun map :)

Hi Fellaz - glad to hear you like this map... I know that map is possible - it was a blind mistake to declare this map "impossible" - confound it with "possible" ... anyway... the main thing is you´ve fun with it :-)
Greetz to ya

Wow...Stratego ... I became a little bit red by reading your compliments - now it´s not so easy anymore for me to go on while laying so high expectations on me ;-) ...but I´ll do or die trying...
THX for rating me so good :-)

Enjoyed this challenging mission and can heartily agree with Stratego's praising review.
Expanding your economy and completing your castle step by step is deeply satisfying on this map. Played it several times.
A scene for itself is the Lord chasing the first invasions: horse archers.
The best way of dealing with food shortage is inns, of course. You can give half rations and get taxes to more than compensate the costs. This also allows a margin at popularity for times of bad events.
Liked to become more and more courageous concerning population and ended up with 88 workers, the half of them iron miners.
Apropos, in one game I started mining iron very early. Three times the countless mines burnt down, once by slaves and twice by unstoppable fire events. In such a case I sold all the iron and bought wood to replace everything immediately. Soon it made "ding dong, ding dong" at the stockpile again.
