What a jerk. I don't like people who do that on their reviews......here, I'LL rate it.
This was overall a fun map. Despite some of it's flaws, I enjoyed playing it.
This was one of the "flaws" I was talking about. The invasions were not all that tough. They were really more of an annoyance more than a threat most of the time. That last invasion was different, and much larger, but not much of a threat. This is something easily taken care of. Either make the attacking forces larger, or slim down on the castles defenders.
This map didn't do much to stand out from the rest. You were creative with the storyline, but not enough to gather much attention.
Map Design: 3.5
This does need work, but it's not impossible. The main problem was the terrain. It was just too flat. I mean, no mountains, not hills, nothing. There was a small oasis, I guess it was anyway, to the north, but it didn't really look natural. The one redeeming factor was, in fact, the castle itself. It's design was quite interesting. I liked it.
You had one, and clear instructions, so that's good enough for me.
Few maps are perfect the first time around, but all can be improved. This was a very good first effort. And to other map makers out there, this map is still a fun map to play, so DOWNLOAD IT!!! Keep designing Pantel4you!
