Alright I can't remember how I formatted the intro to my other levels and I don't feel like looking, so...new format. If I remember right I didn't like my old ones anyhow.
So anyhow...
Story
-------
A month after returning, finally, from his long foray, Alvod wedded the maid Marry, and had a son. As the years passed, Alvod grew old. When he reached the age of sixty four, Alvod's son has taken matters up in his father's stead. He was definitely old enough to retire from his duties, especially after having led his troops around the country. Alvod's son Jallo, was still fairly young, at the age of sixteen years. He had been kept mostly away from the teachings of war, as his father wanted him to know the ways of peace. Meanwhie, Tolanof was eighty one, and still as active as any of the band! This was an incredible thing, for him to be so old, yet so deft.
It was not long after he had been handed control, only three days in fact, that Jallo made his first important decision. Remembering his father's tale of his last battle, the ambush with the "men in the red shirts", he approached him, and declared that he would seek out this attacker. He figured they could only be coming from the North. His father beseeched him, not to go to so harsh a territory. Jallo quickly pointed out to him though, that he could not allow this enemy to hold all the old family lands and ruins of the family castles, places considered hallowed and sacred, although abandoned and freezing. Alvod gave in to his son's reasoning, and with a heavy heart, bid him to take the army and march where he saw fit.
As he marched northward, the words of warning given by Alvod proved to be true. Everything became desolate and harsh. Eventually though, Jallo found a small area, which he thought would suit his need to build an outpost. He chose to settle in there. However, this is where his inexperience showed. The many passages up to the cliffs he had stationed his army on were very difficult to cover by arrowfire, being blocked by other cliffs that were at first perceived to help and not hinder in such a manner. The trees were blasted by the furious winter winds, and many could not withstand them and ceased living. At the same time, the wolves were hungry. Jallo quickly realized why his father had left this place...

Ugh. Playtesting is terrible. I loved doing the landscape on this one, although I ran into the problem of the 'withering tree' thing, where you have too man shrubs, and, I also ran out of rocks O_o... Anyhow, the playtesting sucked...just terribly...that's the reason it's taken me so long to release this level actually. Well, here's to playing. Have fun, and don't let the Pig walk all over you. For the more detailed version of the story, see the text file in the zip. Campaign map will be coming soon. Also, reviews are more than welcome!
