This is my first map submitted here, but it is far from my first map made.
|Number of Players:
War. Bloody, endless war. It had raged for nearly three decades now without cease or lull. Thousands died for the same piece of ground again and again on both sides, with neither foe nor friend gaining any advantage.
And now this - a plague with an almost certain mortality rate. And with no vaccination available and seemingly no peasant immune, you seem done for; your enemy will surely plow over your weakened forces and destroy you and your family's dynasty forged over the years, all due to this cruel twist of fate.
That is, until you get an idea...
The plague is highly contagious, and the only visible symptoms resemble that of a severe case of flu. You plan to send several diseased men loyal to you into your enemies' castles, pretending to be deserters. They will spread the plague among your adversaries, killing them with you.
You lie weak on your bed, your body shaking with fever and chill as the last phase of the plague starts and your death draws near. A scout rushes in, and whispers in your ear of the death wrought upon your enemies. The scout coughs that terrible whooping cough that nearly the entire kingdom has due to this cursed disease.
With little strength, you manage a feeble smile; at least you will be able to take your enemies to hell with you.
Your eyes close forever.
And then they open.
You are in bed, a luxurious bed of purple silk; two soft linen pillows resting beneath your head, and the finest silk undergarments on your body. You stare in wonder out the window as a bird flies by, and a deer bounds from tree to tree. You scratch your head in confusion; even the smallest of health troubles you have are gone!
Then it hits you: you are in Heaven.
God has decided to spare you the eternal torment and misery of Hell, and you are in Heaven.
A rock the size of a dinner table crashes through the roof and snaps you out of your reverie. You look out the window and see a trebuchet, decorated with the colors of your enemies.
Just your luck: they made it to Heaven, too.

loved it loved it loved it ! easy and interesting to play from any keep
stated as unbalanced , but i feel that it is a very equal map, with each position being equally strong
great stuff !!

great map design with interesting natural defences that aid and hinder equally to great effect
brilliant story , very original and entertaining
I played against the Lionheart and wolf, and both of them were able to complete thier small castles. However, I could see that the Wolf would not be able to finish his very large castle. No matter how you play you are going to fight over recorces, especially when you factor in the closeness of the casltes. Great fun.
Mostly balenced, but there were small recorces diffrences. Upper left keep has stone behind his castle, while other's do not.
Paradice. It's where you go for infecting opposing lords with the plauge. And to do battle of course!

Lush grassland, fountains, and plenty of wild life. Now that's paridice. There were some things i did not like, However. The grassland looked kind of dull. you could put thick scrub inside of it to vary the appearance. And wouldn't there be more grasses near rivers, not less (this was looked good, but was not natural. Also, the tree in the center fountain ruinded the fountain's appearance. The other one looked good though. Especialy from angles where you could not see the foam that kicked up.
As I already stared, nice story.
