This is my first map.
It's an unbalanced 6 player map.It took me a couple of hours to build but i think it's a good map.
tree players on the north have resources and height advantage to build their towers, but dont have too much space.the two players in the middle have space and are covered by the river but they are two close with each other, and the last player on the bottom right has resources (exept oasis) and a small hill to place his towers.players have to gain control of the river to win the game.good for 3vs3 or 2vs3.please rate this. |

Pretty good lookin. The fords seem a lil out of place though... will download and hopefully rate |

Playability...
Thats Where Big Fights Come In With The Wolf, Ok... Top Right Area Is Virtually Useless When Using it, To Small Way To close To Oasis. top Left, better Space, Ais With Smaller Castles Could Make Thier castle, Wolf Just managed His Small castle, Lionheart I Doubt Could Make His all important Ballistae, So No grreat Positioning but Moderate. Bottom Center, Lots Of Space, Wolf built His Castle here (Bar One Wall Of Towers From Quarries Etc) But Oasis is far Away, But Mentioned AS it Is Unbalanced.
I Didnt play Anymore But I only Tested If The Ais Could Build Thier casltes.

As You Stated, its Unbalanced. Some Positions have No Oasis But Lots Of resources, But A PPatch of Oasis can be Added, There Is Also Alot Of Gaps So Its hard to get there before The Ais...
Creativity: 4
Quite Creative, It Does Stand Out From Other Played Maps, The Only One With A Waterfall.
Map Design: 4
Very good map Design, Spesho For A First... The Water Fall Could Use Some Work, Then Again Add Some Rocks In The River, In Accesible Fords On the Middle Like Small Shapes, It Hard to explain. The Fords Werent That good, They Just stick out, Try Creating Some Small One Sqared Gaps And Rocks, Even Small Dots Of Ford Around It...
Other Than That the Map Work is Great

No Instructions, Just An explanation. But Its A Skirmish, Does it Need one? No...

i appreciate your honesty.Now that i think about it i wouldnt rate it for more than 2.The map looks a little out of order indeed,as you said the top right has little space BUT it was designed for human players since one can take advantage of the space that's on the bottom of that hill(one the top right).I dont think i am that good in map making.I made a new map today,check it out and tell me what you think. |

Hi Greek crusader
I played the map last night and found that most keeps needed more space. Clearly the minimap shows that. So i agree with Froobachoob about the playability category. Most ai's were simply hopeless.
Apart from that a good map. make more. |

i did make another map that's designed to work perfectly with Ai's .It's called Valley of death III.
Though this map (the river lord) was meant to be played with human players.
