Over the years, a large mountain range has formed, blocking the harsh winds of the desert and preventing too much sand from forming dunes. This has also allowed rain clouds to form more frequently, encouraging the growth of a forest just off the area.
Frequent landslides have reavealed large deposits of iron, and the felled boulders are loosened and can be collected.
It is a great cradle for desert civilization.
You have been sent to utilise this area for an outpost, only to find it occupied. after "persuading" the local populace into joining your cause as slaves, you establish a keep, now to find Mountain Lions attacking your population. This land is desirable, and is constantly beseiged. You must defend it and maintain it.
alright. my first map. wanted a map i could build up quickly on, so its very basic stuff, and geographical facts may not be correct. so.. yeah. Easy map, lion attacks aren't very often, but beseige yourself as you see fit. please enjoy it, rate and comment. thanks!
*** A little busy at the moment, so no time to get a minimap picture. will update when i get home. =p
A very easy to play map. Lot's of room to build your ideal castle and apart from some hungry lions to savage some of your workers, no threat to hinder your ecomonic building.
What kind of balance are you after in this section? For a one player game it's fine.
Not seen a map like this, but by the same token not a lot of creativity in the map design. It's more functional in it's layout, ensuring an easy build for your castle.
Map Design: 3
Basic design, blending flat plains with a rocky formation littered with resources. One complaint lies in the position of some of the iron in the middle of the rocks that is actually inaccessible, But a minor flaw, in an otherwise good map.
There is a good story on this page, but nothing in the game map. Hence the middle of the road score.
I like this map and will probably get hours of fun out of it. Well worth the 10 second download time (ha!).
