1st of January 1066
The dams have burst their banks, only one is left. Recent flooding means that it too will soon fall. Before that we must be away. We have gathered the iron to ransom the king, (see my last map, a valley of plenty) but we need to take it across the seas. We will need much. Supplies for the journey, crews to man the ship, materials to erect a fortification should our negations turn nasty, oh yes and there is that little matter of the Rat.
He’s still there, hes still coming, we’ve got to hurry! We’ve won a battle, but not the war. We cannot hold off the full weight of his armies. He’s still obsessed with his idea of revenge.
2nd of January 1066
An Army has been spotted a group of the pigs fleeing bandits. There is massive group of troops pursuing them. They carry the symbols of the Rat. We can survive if the troops are placed wisely. Should we survive the attack we must refurbish the ship! They are coming! The archers are giving them a volley and their returning fi……..We ……survive……many……..breached……dead…….resupply………..
Scenery and terrain will be destroyed during the game. Pause and lok at the eyecandy before starting. YOU ARE TO PLAY THIS MAP ON HARD, VERY HARD FOR CHALLENGE AND NORMAL IF YOU FEEL LAZY. IT IS FORBIDEN TO PLAY ON EASY!

First of all, the moment the game starts there's an over-crowding of 64/48.I found alot of bugs in the game. The objectives were too easy. and since u didn't even diasble the things to be achived,one could easy buy them with the substantial amount of money provided. The population was self achieved once the game started. And there were 7 events all in the same month of Jan. too much happening along with the invasion.
Balance was below average. The first invasion of Rat started on jan with an assortment of troops. There seemed to be alot of archers there. And only one signpost, so all the invading troops piled up on the same spot. Sometimes there were up to 300 archers. The bandits made no sense. They didn't attack properly and once they managed to get thru the first river, they'd quit and start attacking the invaders. quite a clash there.i thought there were way too many troops invading.Since the only ford was to the south-east corner, the invading troops had to make a complete circle which gave me ample chance to takem out with my arhcers.
A fantastic thought put in a map. I love maps which are more concerntrated on the aspect.The ship thing was fabulous too. And the saxon,granary,armory inside it made all safer.

Great design skills you have. I particularly liked the idea of graves, catapults on high walls (though they served no puropse.),the bridges, waterfall and yes the ship.Ok,it's a 5

In such a map where one has to gather to achieve the produced (like stone,wood) you should make the invasions smaller depending on the difficulty you want to set and the invasions every (eg:2-3) months.I think i was a bit generous on the review here, well maybe not.i dont want to discourage u.
