Build your empire among the sweeping meadows of the Ettenmoor, or stake your claim on the eastern sectoin of the great Ettenhills. Fight off remenants of a lost roman scouting post, or let the animals deal with them.

The map took me around a day from initial plans in my head to the finished product ready to download. Any and all comments are welcome, and I would love a reveiw. This is my first map ever submitted to Stronghold Heaven.
No-body has any questions/comments? I'd really appreciate even just a four word review.

Ok, well,I think you would have been better off making this map an invasion, free build just gets kind of lame. There wasn't really a big challenge, but still, it was pretty fun to remove the Romans.
There really wasn't any balance here. The Romans had far little troops to make up for a garrison. Maybe adding a century of Romans would make this a little more appealing.
The map itself was quite a good one. I enjoyed the rolling hills, strewn rocks and tiny rivers that really personified the Ettenmoors from your little story. Good job.
Map Design: 4
It was a good design, the features worked, as did the animals. I didnt like that your rivers had that annoying glitchy edge to some parts. You should really try to hide that with rocks next time. The other lakes and the mountains were good. From a bird's eye view, the map looked awesome. Just a few minor mistakes here and there.
The story was pretty good, but I think you couldve really expanded the story if you made a continuing invasion map story. Maybe just try to make this map an invasion and resubmit will give you an even better score! :)
Additional Comments: Good Job. I like your style of mapmaking, it is quite reminiscent of mine and I commend you. Next time though, try to fix the graphical glitches of stronghold with rocks or shrubs. Other than that this was a fine submission, albeit it needs some more action. :)
If this is your first submission, I'm impressed! I see a wonderful addition to our community. Keep the maps coming!
