Hmm, It does look rather plain, Ill agree, but then again, so did Oracle of the Forest, and that was picked by Sparrow. Ill give it a shot... |

Hi. Remember me? I've gotten nicer in the last few months though, so I will give you my honest opinion and some tips, but NO insults. Yay me.
Playability: 4
This was quite an enjoyable map. It wasn't the hardest I've played, but it was still quite fun.
Balance: 3
I said this wasn't the hardest map I've played, and I think that is due to the fact that your starting troop amounts are quite high, and while the invasions are medium/large sized, they are made up of lower level troops, or higher level troops in smaller groups. I've said it before on a couple other maps. You would be suprised how much a trebuchet or two, or a group of 50-60 swordsmen in an invasion can make.
Creativity: 3
This was your run-of-the-mill invasion map.
Map Design: 2
I'm sorry if you get offended by this, but design was really poor. The "hills" on the outskirts were really fake, and the wide open grass plains had so much unused space. Add some hills, quarrys, forests, mountains, rivers, waterfalls, anything to make it look more real. And if you do a forest, use trees AND bushes. So many times a designer will put in trees but no bushes. A real forest would have bushes and shrubs in it, and hollows. Even if this is a fighting map, it doesn't hurt to add herds of deer, or a few bears. Just try to imagine what it would be like in real life.
Story/Instructions: 3
You had one, but you have a whole website to present with: use it.
Additional Comments: All in all, a good map. Keep working at it, don't give up on it just because it wasn't perfect the first time around. Keep designing!
Regards, L_K

Hey! Thanks for the review. I didn't think anyone else was going to see it. Why a 4 for balance? What didn't you like about it? Let me know so I can fix it. |

Hi Lord Karpathea :)
Sorry if I am eavesdropping. Just thought I would mention that a "4" in a review score means "Excellent". So if a reviewer gives a 4 it is likely that there is very little they don't like about that aspect of the map...

Oh, I know. It's just on the review he hinted at making it better, but didn't exactly specify "what" to make better. |
