Foolishly, your king started a crusade against the seemingly unbeatable army of Iceland...
The Empire of Iceland has one major strength that you don't. Money. But Your king's uncanny skill in developing a thriving empire brings him much happiness. This pointless war was started after you accidently shot a spitball at the King of Iceland while aiming at your friend Rommel. He ducked. You were barely spared your life. The king was infuriated, and made your entire company of knights and your king leave at once, forcing you to travel across the sea powered only by a group of seahorses...
When you reach the shore about 3 years later, your king decides that a good repayment of their three year voyage with the stallions of the sea is to make you provide the kingdom with 500 iron ingots to help with the war, that you started.
It took 2 weeks to finally locate some iron, only to find it is guarded by the Empire of Iceland's men already. You shall have to deal with them at some point if you are to ever complete your punishment.
Think about this alot. there are lions around the map and bandits will appear periodically as the game progresses. Have fun and reviews are much appreciated.
woulda been better to make this a SH map, not a SHC. I don't think iceland had a very big sandy desert.
Just a tip!
looks good though.

Okay, the oasis was really far away from the keep, and there was only one bandit attack. Once I killed the bandits by the iron I just had to sit and wait.
Balance: 3
Sort of boring, really easy once you beat the bandit base.

I liked the story, it made me laugh. The iceland part was a tad odd, and the map was sort of plain.
Map Design: 2
Not great. Elementary noob mistakes. I say this not to insult you but to show you its easy to fix.
Flat landscape - Add a few hills and a bit of the equalizer tool
Water went up the hill by the sea - Min Hieght tool
Trees were boring - spread out more.
Cliff looked too perfect - Equalizer tool and some Min Hieght as well
Lions in clumps - give them some time to spread out.
Story/Instructions: 3
The story was funny, but based in Iceland (what?!?) and not long enough

Keep it up! You'll be great!

ty for Downloading...
I dunno the bandits are supposed to attack you every time you get so much iron. dunno why it didn't work.
I don't have SH1 so can't really make it on that one. I would have it but don't know where to buy it.
This is only like my 2nd map anyway so not a big deal i guess.
Keep up reviews and comments plz any1.
And they don't end up in Iceland, that's just where they started out

Really sad that this promising concept has not been worked out properly.
Very early a hord of bandits attack. You hacve five initial bows. So best stay at the plateau of the keep, place a small gate house and survive with stone. With a decent army of archers I cleared the map from the packs of lions and the some oasis grass from trees. With the wheat coming in everything was fine.
... It kept being quiet - in the editor only one bandit attack is scripted.
The iron deposit is overlooked by a rotten castle whose garrison you have to eliminate. Then there would be a very long way for the iron miners to the keep.
Courageous decision: relocating the stockpile. Sold everything, smashed the stockpile and put new tiles right next to the iron mines. Moved all the buildings there section by section. With -5 fear factor and game speed 90, waiting for the unreasonably high amount of iron was only just bearable. You get a colourful stockpile in the end.
