History: The Wolf is preparing to raze this county that is loyal to our cause and supplies us with food essencial to the nearby castles and campaigns. Last night some of our villagers informed that a massive army is going in our direction! This county is famous because of his terrain advantage to anyone who prepare well his position: As your homeland you prepare to defend. The enemy is trying to pass this river and hill so use all your skills to stop them. This will be a bloody fight!
Here it is the promised second version! The landscape improved a lot: I worked the cliffs and plains, added a village, aqueduct, irrigation and the small camp in the hill! I think it is much harder because of spearman became maceman and some maceman to pikeman and increased swordsman and knights, I deleted some defenders, added new groups of some angry villagers and doing some spripting adedd a final charge of the Wolf and messages. I added the story in the page. To increase playbility I added the camp that will add some work and time to defend. All this just like Paradox_king and Lord Karpathea suggested so I thank you again.
I suggest to play first in normal and then try hard or very hard. I don't know about you but in very hard I defeated the enemy with near 85% of losses and the lord was in serious danger...
Some hints are present in the archive. More hints are appreciated.

This map was brought down by a lot of different things. While they can all be fixed, each one brought the rating down.
Wow. You fixed a lot of the problems. Definite increase in replay value.
First problem. The defending force is incredibly large. Normally, a seige will have the defenders outnumbered. This one had the attackers outnumbered. If you played as attacker, it wasn't as bad, but defending was waaaaaaaaay too easy. Enlarge the attacking forces, or make the attacking troops more advanced (i.e. macemen to pikemen), or add some siege weapons, like 4-5 trebuchets. Another thing to do could be to significantly cut down on the defenders.
As I said before, easy as defender, hard as attacker.
Nothing special about this map, nothing stood out.
Now with a story, and a improved landscape, the map has better appeal. For a "first time map", that's good enough for me.
Map Design: 4
Poor at best. There were a lot of wide open grassy spaces, a handful of trees, and a fake looking mountain. If you check out some other maps around here, you can get some tips on how to improve the design. Play around with the hieght tool some, vary the type of terrain (dirt and grass, bushes, waterfalls) work on the cliffs a bit more, maybe add a rockslide. Just because it's a seige doesn't mean it shouldn't look good.
Much better. It looked a lot better than the first time around. Still a lot of grassy area, but it didn't really matter to me.
None at all. You have a whole web page to present your creation. USE IT.
Good story, good in length, and it kept my attention. Also, a good background.
Work on the balance, map, and story, and you'll have a winner. And don't feel bad, no map is perfect the first time around. Keep designing!
Much better. This map shows definfite improvment. I look forward to your future maps.
