Hello everyone this is my first map so I hope you guys can give me some useful feedback.

The clash of steel against steel. The stench of death. They float through the air weaving there way through the battlefeild.. Right to you. You duck left and swing your sword. You spin and block with your sheild but the blow is to strong your sheild shatters. 3 splinters cut deep into your face. You feel your cold blood dripping down your face. You strike back with your sword slashing down the fool. Death surronds you both Arab and Crusader lie crying in pain blood dripping... The sand is no longer pure white it is stained with the blood of the foolish.
You countinoue to work your way through the feild the beautiful land you once new is reduces to rumble the castle is crumbing and the sand it self seems to burn. The beautiful grassland is burned away trees are hacked managled from constant blows from swords and arrows...You stumble along walking through the fight..You look for another target and you find one you charge your steel clashes with the Arab you hack back and forth parrying thrusting hacking finally it ends...he slashes your thigh as you plunge your sword into his heart. You stumble on saying to yourself "I will not die in this horrid place" Finally you stumble away from the battle onto the top of a dune and drop to your knees. You collapse faceforword into the sand. You fell it in your mouth your noise but you do not have the energy to blow it out. At its end you The Bear.. King Bear faint into unconsiousness...
With a start you wake up from this horrible nightmere and feel your face where those scares still are. You still dream of those horrible battles the death.. You can never rid it from your mind. You dress you walk to the great hall. You admire the many years it took you to build this mighty castle...But now you have somethign to do. A messanger came yesterday a request from the king to establish a outpost in the Holy Land. In the same place of that mighty battle many years ago.
4 Years later.
The outpost is finally established and you hope you shall prosper in this holy land and bring back great riches for your people in England.

Lord Boz ive found a slight problem with your map! You left the edges where the bridges connect just as rock so you cannot actually walk over them. (advise changing to stone or something)
So the only stone and iron you can collect is that tiny amount near your castle :[
I got bored so i destroyed all the buildings and collected the stone from that and built loads of churches! Took forever to complete!

Hmm thats strange.. I was sure I fixed that By switching the bridge to land with outer wall. Well your welcome to switch it and it will play better. I'm kinda new at uploading stuff I kinda guessed the stuff on this and got it uploaded..
Lord Boz Yeah i found that problem with my bridge maps aswel at first and submitted a map with altertnated route becuase i could not get troops to travel over the bridge!
So dont worry about it! Just give the map a play and tell me wether you can make a troop travel over the bridge, right of the stronghold.
peter2008 Nice title. The mission plays quite peaceful, however. The pathway problems that Lord Boz has detected still exist, yet are easy to solve in the editor.
- Set the land around the first bridge to Mid Plain so that the rocks on the other side of the Keep disappear. (Additionally you can place a small Gate House on that side and attach stairs.)
- Lower the land behind the big Gate House to Minimum Height and attach stairs to the stairs leading up to the Defence Turret.
- Save this version under a working title.

Thus prepared there'll be free way to the fun of the map. You may be tempted to try similar construtions in-game, too to shorten the ways for your workers.
Over the hills and far away, many deposits of iron and stone can be found.
Alas two bad events occur, repeating frequently and spoiling the wish to grow any food - besides hops. Luckily, in Crusader you come far with ale sustaining popularity.
The bonus from religion may balanace a -5 fear factor driving the workers and even allow -2 taxes.
So, for anyone who likes economy the mission is some fun playing. Great (and less boring in the long run) it would have been with some more troubles and restrictions added.
