Thank you for getting this file and enjoy and thank you for send creator tips.
Hey man, now I don't claim to be a good map maker (if you don't believe me check out "Swords and Armour", its two down from your map and it sucked hard >

The damn thing cut off the rest of my comment, so I have to retype all of this again.
Yes my map sucked...
First I suggest you check out the Mapmaking 101 section in the Stronghold Heavens site, the URL is this:
http://stronghold.heavengames.com/maps/index_html
They got most of your questions covered.
Your first question they don't specifically address. To make a tall wall in Crusader:
-First make a big area of high ground (to get those annoying rocks out of the way)
-Then place the walls where you want them to be
-Lastly use "minimum height" to lower the surrounding terrain, so that you are left with a tall wall
Second question, just place the stairs as you normally would, remember to extend them a lot longer cos of the increased height. The game will automatically match the stair's height to the wall height.
Third I have no idea, trying googling "custom shield stronghold crusader"
Forth, pyramids are make with a central square of tall wall, then stairs running down all sides, it is quite easy to do.
Hope that helps and hope that I don't have to retype again^^

You have to edit the file called 'faces.bmp' in the Crusader directory to change the shields.
EDIT: Oh oops. You're talking about the little movies where they say stuff or when you select them in the level selection box thingy aren't you? Sorry, I don't know either.
