Another attempt at mapmaking, with a new (but similar ^^) castle and same objectives:
Tested to be winnable in normal, but I really suspect that it is impossible on hard because of the size of the invasions.
I disabled hovels to limit population (don't want to make it too easy) and gatehouses to stop players simply walling themselves in.
Hints for new players:
-Learn to squeeze every penny, and every crumb of bread :)
-You start with a lot of money for a reason
-Mine the iron ASAP, and store it until you are ready to make the swords and armour
-Storing a lot of food and not giving it to your peasants is downright daylight robbery (think about it ^^)
Again I'll like to acknowledge that this map is based heavily on Jayhawk's "Carrochcrag".
Another question for the veteran mapmakers. Is there a way to stop people walling themselves in without disabling gatehouses and stairs?
I'm thinking about giving the player a limited initial stock of stones (for repairs), then disable quarries, and make money hard to come by (so that buying that 5 units of stone is gonna be a major investment). Does this sound viable?
