The year is 1339 A.D. You, as the king, sometimes feel lonely as you stare out the window of your magnificent keep. One year ago, your wife died… it shook everybody’s mind. She was the love of your life and she was the kindest woman you could ever meet. The peasants and workers adored her. Down in the graveyard, there is a statue of your wife’s grave. You try not to go down there but it makes you feel guilty if you don’t.
Every now and then, you greave for your wife. You wish she was still alive. You wish the cancer hadn’t crept up to her brain. Once again you try not to think about it. But, as you stare out of the window you smile. Because, you know she is there with you… her spirit. Also, you smile because of your city. It is bigger and richer than any other city… even richer than Rome was.
Sometimes you wander down to the barracks and give the soldiers some hard, courageous words. Also down to the farming areas just to give people a friendly hello and see how things are. Some of the workers stare at you in an awkward way because they know you are still sad. But this is your life… a life that you love and would never trade it with anyone else’s. You are the king of Citadelity.
This eyecandy map includes:
- A huge stadium
- Wheat farm eyecandy
- Small dam wall for water
- Religious pyramid
… and much more.
Hey everyone. I’ve been working on this map for a few months and it better get rated. Just tell me what you think. Also, if there’s anything wrong with the map, don’t hesitate to comment.
Well, I am shocked. I was wondering when somebody would see the dark side of this map. I was hoping it was not you. I understand what you meant by unnatural parts. But-I don't know what to say...
I didn't see anything wrong with the terrain. I certainly did not place objects in random places. With the armourers and fletchers, I thought it would look neat and real to place them into a rectangle form. Um...I thought the stadium was quite a good one and putting people in it, (I tried and rejected), looked bad. I know what you meant about the outer walls being just a big diamond, but it worked out that way as I was making it. I had doubts about the walls, I thought that I should have put more towers along the way.
With the farms, don't you think it was better to tuck them away in the corner? It still looked industrial like and I tried to make it look as real as possible. But if you don't like it...
Trust me, and I'm sure you will agree, this map has soul. It is different to other eyecandies.
Thanks for the bad score. I feel kinda bad now.

The review that warlord designs made was not a fair one this map is one of the best around and can never get a score this low.You should have that review removed i would say.The reason behind that sudden review is also clear.

I realised a long time ago that I should not have submitted this map. Because the eyecandy is very simple, it is not a realistic city. Anyway...
I just can't believe that this was #1 on the Best of Crusader page for a few months.

sweet Castle!!!!! the Whole thing is amaising!! and by the way SiX_NiNE if i wanted a castle back then i think i would want the biggest one posible because you have more people, more troops, and it is harder to destroy.

You said this was the best city ever. WRONG. Requiem's the best.
