You and your brother, Lord Eulysses, have been rivals ever since you could both walk; you’ve always fought to best each other. Your Father’s health has taken a turn for the worse lately, and he knows that when he passes on the two of you will never be content with your halves of the ladder. Wanting to prevent a future feud, he issues a challenge to the European Lords and to the Arabian Lords. There is to be a contest for the land; Wolf and Saladin are sent. After the lots are cast Saladin is alloted the top tier, Wolf, the middle tier, and you and your brother the bottom tier. The contest is to be won accordingly: the first Lord to completely control one half of the tier wins the contest. The prize -- ownership of the estates. Will you beat your brother to the top of the ladder or will you be crushed from above?
What I had in mind with this map is a race against your ally to the top of the ladder (works best with a human as an ally obviously), if you're setting it up with an AI ally it's best to use easy opponents like Snake, Phillip or maybe Pig on their side of the ladder and more challenging opponents on your side of the ladder. I like to play this map as a deathmatch game with a computer advantage because the AI get a chance to establish an economy and they get their keep up sooner. Play as desired though, and enjoy:)
I would say to round out those lines of oasis and hills to make it look better. i haven't played it so who knows (not me) if those help when playing or not.

Thanks for the feedback, Castlefreak. I thought about making the lines flow more but it just didn't seem natural, even if it would look more natural(if that makes any sense). ie -- the farmland is supposed to show where the water levels reach when it floods or when the river is high. Anyways, let me know what you think.
