This castle took me forever to make (well not really, but by my definition anything over 3 hours is forever ^^), so enjoy.
Objective:
-Make 30 bows before the enemy overruns you
Description of the map:
-No walling yourself in ^^. You start with 15 stones for repairs and no more.
-Nice compact castle by the sea, with my best attempt at eye-candies.
-Inability to recruit more men.
-Thus learn to use pitch ditches correctly or die in the attempt ^^.
Some design notes, I realized that space of normal ground in front of the gate is really distracting, but is there so that the gate is functional. For some reason units become stuck at the gate if it is surrounded by lowered walls.
And about that boat, originally in the map editor it was made of wooden walkways, but somehow it all disappeared when I tried to lower them, so now the boat looks like its just another piece of land T.T
Personally I think this map is an example of what NOT to do when making maps, I sacrificed a lot of playability for eye-candies. There are a lot of issues with the enemy attacking random pieces of walls and such (although they can’t make it unwinnable, it is annoying and really distracting).
Not really expecting a review, but don't let me discourage you if you're in a critical mood ^^.
In the spirit of realising things after I submitted the file, I just realised that this whole "no walling yourself in" concept is a sham, if a player really want to do that, he can just delete part of the original castle and use the stone to wall in the farmlands.
That being said, plz don't do that, it ruins the fun xD

I myself learnt about wooden walkways the hard way. Sadly they cannot be lowered or they dissapear. Use different heights instead.
