Playability: This map is okay for a quick defend-at-all-costs type invasion. You are provided with plenty of stores initially, but I found I sold most of these to ensure that I could 'buy' all my troops from the barrcks, which is needed as the invasions are quite meaty. Not sure about the longevity of this map, though.
Balance: This is a tough challenge, but I thought the map was a little off kilter, if you know what I mean. I tried to build up the castle to defend it using archers (pick them off as they attack the walls) and shoved in one double gatehouse. But neglect the food side of things and you become pretty unpopular pretty quickly. I felt this would have been a little better if invasions were more spaced out, or if you were provided with a lot of food so that you don't have to worry about this aspect of the map. Not enough time for weapon production worth anything of any significance.
Creativity: Okay, I thought, and seems very similar to one of the pre-designed maps that accompany the game when you first install it, so not extremely original.
Map Design: Fair, but nothing exciting or captivating. Still, some effort has gone into the land terrain.
Story/Instructions: Nothing here that grabs you and the content is a little thin.
Despite all this, I enjoyed playing the map, but was left a little disappointed after it has finished. But credit due for the different, if slightly unorthodox win conditions.
