Hello everyone. My name is Staisy, I'm 15, I live in Americe,Texas.I've been playing Crusader about 2 years and I finely learnd how to send maps(I'm so happy). So now I'll be sending some of my maps for you to play and rate. As I noticed there are lots of boys playing this game and not many girls, so I think it's great. Let's all be friends! =) |

Well, then try playing without mangonels :P and 90 speed. I used only arabian units without siege mashines etc. :) |

Welcome Staisy to stronghold heaven!
This is a wonderful first time map, but in the future, make sure that you make the building space a little bigger |

Now for a review by the great and mighty Lord Karpathea. You should feel honored........ok, not really........
Anyway, overall this map was quite enjoyable. Balance and creativity score high.
As was said in other reviews, this is a well-balanced map. The two players are close to each other, with limited resources and oasis. Right off the bat I was getting attacked by archers and fire balista (damn Nizar...), and I had to quickly establish a defense to drive them back.
Creativity scores high because of the map design itself. While this isn't the greatest map out there (no offense meant), it offers more challenge then some, because of the starting locations of the keeps. So many maps on this site have you placed far away from your enemy, and you have time and resources to raise an strong army and castle. In this map, you have to worry about your enemy immediately. A nice change, I thought.
Map design scores high, mainly because for a first time map, this is quite good.
As for story, I'm not going to be bitchy about it, since it is your first map. In the future though, a longer story will bring a higher review. You have a whole website to present your masterpiece, so you might as well use it.
All in all, great map. It has definite replay value. Welcome and keep designing!
Regards,

It's nice to see some friendliness, but please, you should be carrying on conversations in the forums. That's what they are for. Please visit there and talk about yourselves and your maps. |

I am trying to be nice about this but you are making it increasingly difficult. You are disrupting the comments section. Please don't make it necessary to take further action on this.[Edited on 02/12/07 @ 06:30 PM]
