This is the beginning of a series that i am starting, this map is very easy on normal, but very challenging on very hard, so i would stay with hard. The story is included with the map, so have fun!

it's likely that as he works on his maps he'll improve, but i have to agree, this doesn't look that appealing. he could update this map and add more to it, but that's just his choice

I understand, but chapter one was supposed to be simple, and they get more complex as the numbers get higher.

I just want to say, that if u create a map (not all scenario, just map) in less that 5 minutes, the player will soon be bored of the enviroment. So in the future, try to make some bushes, different trees, small rivers, waterfalls, hills for ex. Then the map will attract more people, however, the scenario must be good too. I will download this map and try to comment your mistakes and rate the map.

The only trouble of this map is the given population of up to 66 (if you don't tear down a hovel quickly). Will the number cause starvation? You can see this as an advantage, too: the people are disposable immediately.
On the other hand, with 1.000 gold in the pocket you may buy some apples. Or leave it. Turned the walls, gates, towers into wood planks and into huts and posts. Et voilá, even on very hard the game was brought to an success after a short time.
