Honourable nemesis

Author File Description
File Details
Map Size: 300x300 (Medium)
Number of Players: 3
Balance: Balanced
Difficulty: Normal
This map is made for 3 players. You can play this map 2 vs 1 or 1 vs 1 vs 1. The stone, iron, the grass is enough for everyone and the space will be good if you will build not so huge castles.
The batle will be in the mountains and will just feel it's pressure, because you are down hill and your enemy is going to attack you from the hill. So build a good defense and destroy your nemesis! Good luck with that=)

Sir Ravenclaw I think I will download this, look's very nice - should be easy to creat a castle with the mountains ;)

I'll probably go to the bottom keep, I don't like having oasis very far away :)
monkcrazy5 the sign in the middle can be a radioactive sign...or the triforce...whatever kind of finatic you are!
Nice looking ill download
Lord Karpathea It looks interesting.......hmm. Think I'll give this one a go as well.

Lord Karpathea You know what? Forget it. I'm retracting my review. This site is going down the drains lately. No one acually thinks these things through, they just base their reviews and comments on favortism. Well, it's pointless to try to post an honest review, so you'll hear no more from me.

Thanks for the great rating AZ ViTrAzhAs, I have send my greatest work in a multiplayer tipe map. It's called "Ancient power". Hope it will be good to play.

I would first like to say that I agree with Lord Karapathea, the reviews for this map are not thought through at all - more information on the subjects would of been much more like a review of the site's standards.

Playability: 4
It was easy to start up an economy, easy to earn gold to buy most of the elements of a castle.
Much, much room to flourish - although rather limited stone deposits, the resources were placed just fine for each location.

I played in the bottom keep and had Snake & Sultan allied against me (normal game, no advantage), rather relaxing - the Snakes catapults and laddermen never really reached my walls.
I had built a wall from one mountain to another.

One rather very annoying aspect of the map was that enemy archers would hide behind the mountains and shoot at my ballistae's and crossbowmen, I didn't notice this at first and after about 10 minutes of putting 60 crossbowmen onto 2 towers, they were emptied.

Balance: 4
Resources were balanced for every player, space too. But for some reason, the right side of the map always seemed to flourish more than the left side (I played this 2 times, switching enemy AI around), I'm not too sure why.

I know that not every map has to have everything perfect, but a little more stone wouldn't hurt anyone.

Creativity: 3
This type of map has been done before, but a slightly different style. I see this map as a sort of 'No Escape' map (the one that comes with Crusader), only difference being is there's less people and not a central oasis.

I liked the way the high ground in the middle linked the 3 keeps, and it was the only place that saw massive bloodshed.

Map Design: 3
You had the required elements of a map.. like stone, iron etc. but it all seemed a little plain, I see you tried to spruce up the middle by adding a few shrubs. You could have used more of the sizeable stones, and maybe also varied the rocky top's with different types of stones.

A little more shrubbery on the oasis would of also looked better.

Story/Instructions: 2
It wasn't really a story, but a description - which is fine. Although, a little bit on how the lord's came to find themselves there and maybe some information about them would of made a decent story for this map.

Additional Comments:
A good way to kill time, although I wouldn't exactly challenge myself with a map like this.

Sir Ravenclaw why have you ruined my nice rating with such a low mark, I'm not rating your maps, because if I did, the raiting would be so low, that you would have to get thee 5 to make it atleast over 4.
