I must start by saying that this map is not for beginners, and is extremely hard, with over 1,500 troops attacking you throughout the game, and a short time to get going.
I walk through the surrounding cliffs with my army, so peacefully. The cliffs seem to look at me, whispering,"The king is here, with the army. Oh and there is his general." Yes, my general was very bold, well known throughout these parts for his strength, valor, and courage. He had claimed many cities when I had something called "scurvitous demetros", or that's what the healers at the apothecary had told me. I remember when I was sick and had a long, sorrowful conversation."You have done well general, when I die will you take my place?" "My lord!" He yelled,"You should not talk that way!" "Yet I must general. The healers have been telling me I will live, but I have heard thier whispers about how they had to keep up with lying, and how they were almost positive I was going to die. So, again, will you take my place when I die?" There was a long moment of silence, but eventually, out of the general's mouth came a yes. I still remember that conversation, and our allies, the arabians, had stronger medicines, ones that could heal me. And so here I am, living because of them. But, all of the sudden, I thought I heard the cliffs whispering something different,"Look they're trying to surround us!" I dodged an arabian arrow shot. "RETREAT!" I yelled. And into the castle to fight them off we went.

Not everything is there for you, so be ready for anything!

Playability: 4
Playability is good but I didn't personally finish it. I found it impossible.
Balance: 3
Balance is good and bad. I put up an extra wall and gatehouse to block the invasions getting to the main castle but the A.I. stood around the signpost because of the extra wall. I deleted it and saw what happened: the invasions came. lol. Too big of an invasion if you ask me.
Creativity: 3.5
Pretty good. The fires and diseases slowed me down but it was fun. Just an ordinary invasion as well.
Map Design: 4.5
This was fairly good. The rocky cliffs looked great and they confused me. The stone and iron gave it the finishing touch.
Story/Instructions: 5
Story was perfect. Very interesting.

yes, this is extremely hard, so I might want to lower the invasions
And thank you, this is my first custom scenario, and I can't believe I got a four on it! |

Yes, why has Sparrow not removed that?

is there a difficulty rating above impossible? I have played it 8 tomes and LOST!!!! |

In May 1245 the narrow world was quiet again. Healed by Arabian remedies and feeling at home in the desert, my Lord had the experience to deal with the situation. Had two big losses: when a fire broke out just in front of the keep - some men died unknown. And when reinforcements arrived at the signpost still surrounded by Arabian swords that had got stuck there - at least the archers died fighting well.
Liked the damaged towers at the start and the need to gather stones.
Monkcrazy, if you like we can exchange our strategies (took some screens).
PS: In a review i would increase the score for creativity while lowering the one for the story which is still persuading to play the game. |
