Hello everyone and thank you for coming to see the real historical seige( I got a little mixed up on my other map). In this map you play as a lord in a real French castle. The castle is real, and the terrian on it is real, but the surrounding landscape isn't, but I can imagine France as a snowing place with lots of pine trees. The story is in the map. Good Luck!
The first time I played this map I just got the feel for it and I kind of tried to win, you really had to move the troops around and change their stance. On aggressive stance they would seem to run to their death instead of fighting as a group. So I was very busy in the beginning micromanaging.
I tried twice on normal and failed and then I tried easy where for some reason the maceman stood around to get shoot at by arrows they barely touched my outer wall that time. I found out that getting peasants lowered my troop bonus from the gardens so I deleted all hovels in the beginning. I tried again on normal having a little bit of a different strategy and that good things bonus I won. I gave this a 5 because it had the perfect difficulty.
Some good creativity especially with the foam being snow (it’s just too bad you can’t walk on it) but other than that there wasn’t a creative story line and nothing else on the map.
Map Design: 5
You had a nice map design with cliffs and rocks I also liked your road and destroyed buildings. I would have given it a 4 but you had the cool snow which is a +. I haven’t been here for a while so it’s probably a new thing if you could just tell me how to make it I would appreciate it.
You had a kind of short story not that long. You could of maybe of made a little more interesting I mean a castle getting attacked by bandits is kind of been used hundred's of times. You could have had a long history of a castle since it is a historical castle.
Additional Comments: I definitely recommend this map to people looking for a good Siege which this map could have been classified since you can’t really build anything.
