The city of Aron-Doroth was once the greatest city east of the Nagaunian Sea. The Anadarins had always been jealous of the Nendils, the rightful rulers of the city, ever since they had arrived two thousand years ago. Finally, after hundreds of fruitless invasions, the Anadarin king King Fartas managed to destroy the great fortifications of the castle. But the king of the Nendils was able to protect the castle, and Nendil soldiers still patroled the city. Now five lesser Anadarin lords have come to conquer the castle, and rule the lands as King of Aron-Doroth.
This map has some great eyecandy, including a crumbling castle, pyramids, a volcano and more. the stone and iron is mixed in realistically, and paths are made leading from each castle. Watch out for Nendil soldiers!
Well, It's a bit hard because there's barely any oasis, so food is scarce. Watch out for assassins, they can surprise you if your archers are on the pyramids. You might want to try hoarding wood until you have a ton, then spend it all on quarries and tethers. You can even take your archers to the top of the volcano!

I use the volcano to cover my castle.I move my crossbowmen to the top of the volcano and cover my poor castle. It's very tricky.Great!

The map would have worked best if the author had done a series of playtests. I found that none of the AIs can place quarries where the stone deposits lie and although some areas has oasis grass, there aren't much room to place farms. As a result the playability & balance is somewhat below average. It was a rather easy match mainly because the Ais went idle due to insufficient resources. It'll probably work best as a multiplayer.
The volcano looks great and so does the pyramids and the ruins around it. There is a good spot for quarries inside the particular area guarded by melee troops which aren't of any threat. Great eyecandy! Keep mapping
