This will be my last edit. I've played it 10 times to make my final review.
Edit: It is good playable but only the last few units simply won't attack ( The Rams, Towers etc. ). Just get rid of them in the scenario or replace them with preplaced units with the pause options to attack them. Also the map is way too easy, so it didn't was that fun for me.
Well when i played this, i just lost no troops at all... I just reposisionted my troops when it was about time, when the gate broke. Just make it a lot more difficult and place some rohhirim cavalry if necessairy to safe the Helms deep.
I've seen a lot of Helms Deep maps on SH. It is still a very good concept though.
Edit: I'm a bit dissapointed that there is no Rohirim Cavalry coming in. Because the fortress in the books is almost taken in when the rohhirim arrives, and saves them. In this scenario the fortress stands on its own. That's a pity.
Map Design: 3
The map design is somewhat good. It's a pity that you put towers at the long wall. I prefer to make it more like the real helms deep. . Also the walls could be a lot more round next time. The map was way to plain so make use of different types of ground.
I've Hardened myself, sorry. I give a 1 for persons who put down a single line.
It's not really a bad map but it can be a lot better. I like to see the walls more round next time, and the walls without towers, so it will be more like the real helms deep. Also i would like to see rohhirim in time to save the castle. And make it a lot more challenging!
