The Council of Clermont
November, 27th , 1095
Kings, Vessels, merchants, commoners, and serfs all knew that Pope Urban the II had arrived in Clermont nine days ago. They also knew that he was going to make a significant speech today. Thus most of them went to the cathedral to listen. Amongst the present was an excommunicated Lord who’s name was Cristoff. Cristoff was expelled by the Pope earlier for adultery so he came here seeking the Pope’s mercy. The cathedral was crowded and noisy from the children’s cries. Cristoff was cloaked pushing and shoving through the crowd to locate the stairs that leads to the balconies. Until he bumped it to his cousin King Phillip who then escorted him to his balcony. That’s where they seen the Pope enter the room and then began his speech.
“The noble race of Franks, must come to the aid of their fellow Christians in the East. The infidel Turks are advancing into the heart of Eastern Christendom; Christians are being oppressed and attacked; churches and holy places are being defiled. Jerusalem is groaning under the Saracen yoke. The Holy Sepulchre is in Moslem hands and has been turned into a mosque. Pilgrims are harassed and even prevented from access to the Holy Land.
The West must march to the defense of the East. All should go, rich and poor alike. The Franks must stop their internal wars and squabbles. Let them go instead against the infidel and fight a righteous war.
God himself would lead them, for they would be doing His work. There will be absolution and remission of sins for all who die in the service of Christ. Here they are poor and miserable sinners; there they will be rich and happy. Let none hesitate; they must march next summer. God wills it!”
After the speech Lord Cristoff and King Phillip waited for the cathedral to empty. Upon waiting Cristoff asked Phillip if he could construct a castle in Asia Minor. Phillip agreed but he demanded that Cristoff conquer Jerusalem in his name. Cristoff hesitated in agreeing then he calmly said yes, thinking that the church would forgive him. Then jotted the destination on a piece of paper and left to that area.
Arrival to The New Kingdom
February, 28th ,1181
Lord Cristoff arrived at his new castle ridding a white stallion. The horse galloped through the gate house and up to the keep. Cristoff dismount the horse and walked into the keep and immediately walked to his throne to sit down. He then asked for chalice of ale and if he received any messages. A serf fetches him his drink and some letters quickly. Cristoff sipping is ale reads his letters slowly.
The First Letter
Dear Cousin, Hope your ride was splendid. Also I have grave news, during the end of the construction of the castle my work camps to the East and the South side were destroyed by Infidel. So I have reason that there’s an Arabic force somewhere near.
The Second letter
Hello, I’m the remarkable Count Emicho and I shall be arriving to take what goods I need! Don’t dare stand in my way!
The Great, Count Emicho.
[ ] withstand Arab and The Count’s invasions
[ ] make sure they perish

This map is a one-of-a-kind. The playability was great, the enemy soldiers kept washing into the city. I held them off right to the end. I barely won. The balance was a little off as the enemy was too great in numbers. The creativity was excellent, it all fit together nicely. The map design is a definite 5. The terrain was perfect and the design of the castle was one of those designs like it is out of a movie. I loved the castle design. The story was good but had a couple of mistakes in it. I also think you should have made the "second letter" longer. I kind of laughed when I read it.
Overall, this map was great to play. Thanks for the fun.

but i've one little suggestion for you, friend. if you add here 'sav-to-map' trick, employees will be already at work as mission starts. for me, it would look more natural. ;)
