A very nice stronghold my lord. The playability of this map is great "as attacker" like the author metions. The balance of troops is very good. The creativity of the castle is fine but the map is a little plain. I like how it all hills upto the castle. Finally story/instr, nice short story and who needs instructions...
All in all a great map;-/

Playability: Okay, so my siege skills are rubbish, this much is established, but this map has kept me amused and intrigued for days now. Very enjoyable, very engrossing and a blast to play.
Balance: Spot on, this is a hard map to crack when playing on the required difficulty level. I tried the troops provided, my own combination as well as some bizarre concoctions before reverting back to the troops given in the map. And it was this that won me the map, albeit with an embarrassingly high loss rate!! Great fun.
Creativity: About as good as they come, Skipton is a great castle to cover. Nothing bad here, just a good old fashioned siege.
Map Design: The only area where I could find anything negative. Good rendition of the castle, but a tad plain on the map, that's all.
Story/Instructions: very good, well supported. What more can I say?!
