So there is the second part. Your nation built up a castle in a hill. Around the castle there is a river with a few of fords, a large forest, a small oasis, and in the east a border of the Saharah Desert. Your first goal is to clear out the hill far from your castle. There is a large iron mine with lions. To start the work there you must kill the lions. Important. You have a few of Dairy farms, but you must defend them if you want make leather armors. You can't build another ones. There are a lot of events but this is not all. A nearby arabian tribe from the Saharah is want capture your plains. In this way you must protect yourself. You have ten years to prepare for everything what can be happend. If the Saxons can be done, they can go to war against the Arabians. You must incrase your population. Be cruel! Open a few of tavern. They can drink to forgot the pain:D
Please rate my maps, becouse i want know what am i need to make better.
if you are still in contact with the site, I would write a review of your map.
A lovely concept. A motte and bailey castle reigns over the land, a small installment (resembling The Tower of London?) guards the granary far away from the castle.
You want your population ro grow, but there is no wheat chain. Very clever: you must not remove the dairy farms near the granary because the building is restricted. The tanners will have a long way to walk. It is not easy to clear trees for ever more apple orchards.
Happily, the parts of the game engage with each other. Higher food rations and inns allow bad things to encrease productivity.
Either you manage to reach the goals in the first ten years or you will suffer, from bad events (including fire) and invasions. Three signposts and several fords make it difficult to guard the land well.
Winning date is a serious drawback here. It is set on 1270 instead of the game's starting date. So you cannot win before 60 years have passed.

Thank you for your review Peter, even if I'am late with half a year...i stopped playing Stronghold Entirily...BUT, I'am thinking of returning, and try to put more time in on creating maps...who knows what will come out.:)
You gave me a few hints with your review, it was unknown for me that if i set the winning date to the beginning year, than the game will end when you reach your goals. I will train myself on designs too, and i wish to reach a good ballance too...i have a lot to learn.^^''
I think i will make maps for Stronghold, becouse i do prefer the European sphere.
