Vlad the Impaler

You are Vlad the Impaler, supreme ruler of Wallachia, present day Romania. You have made an enemy of the Ottoman empire which is expanding into your borders and into Europe's borders. You have asked other European countries for help in defending Christian Europe against the Muslims, so far none has respond. You have a hilltop castle near fertile rich lands, and a fair amounts mining land near you. Your castle is the only thing standing between the Ottoman empire. Your engineers have built a bridge which connected with the Ottoman empire to trade with them, but now it is could be used to attack your castle, your engineers also are testing a new irrigation system to bring water to some of your lands so trees can grow since you have low amounts of trees near you, but surprisingly alot of trees on the other side of the river. You currently have some cows to domesticate, some skilled hunters and some game near them, and wheat that you can farm. Be careful, and build fast, the enemy is estimated at 1612 total troops, but they are most likely to come soon, so build up!

P.S. This is my 4th map, hope you enjoy it, the map is accurate to a point, because Vlad did make a strong hilltop castle near a river, which defended Christian Europe and Romania from Ottoman control. For a historical map like this, I would usually go to a source for info, usually Wikipedia, but my source was on the History channel, but I forgot the name, so I couldn't get too detailed on the map, but The castle was long, had alot of look out towers, and that, hope you enjoy it!

Update- The mangonel has been taken out, a few more buildings is available, and thats about it.

Lord Rushton Playability: 4
good all round, reason i didnt give a five is because you didn't allow for one to build as much as one may want to

Balance: 4
i did complete it after 2 tries, the invasions were balanced

i havent seen any maps based on this and the castle was very nicely designed

Map Design: 4.5
good defensive area however the managol was annoying because you did put it in a sort-a weird place... it ended up destroying 3 buildings of mine...

Story/Instructions: 5
good story, clear and a bit of history so its a piece of good work

Additional Comments:
i recommend you all to play this, fun map

Yeah the mangonel is a wierd place, I put it there to kinda balance the castle to make it not to powerful so it's a kinda use at your own risk weapon
Lord Rushton that explains it, i totally recommend it as its a great use of a few hours

Very good actually. I doubt the computer could survive this and it was challenging at first. They pretty much know where it hurt me the most and proved to be *Almost* always a challenge.

Balance: 5
The Balace was good(One wave was more of a break. *Point's at 100+ corpses of slaves in front of the bridge) They had a variety of troops that made it a little more interesting for me and considering the heigh bonus it was pretty equal. They in quantity, we in quality.

Well it is the first Romanian map I saw so yeah. Plus The Black Monks attack.

Map Design: 3
Not bad but not to good also.

Need I say more. From what I remember about this you did it perfectly.

Additional Comments:
