Hi mate I might post a review as this is your first freebuild but I don't think it'll be that good because the map had many problems. :(

I'll post it on a comment form because all my attention was to the map design and story/instructions.
First of all the map is really good for a first try I haven't even made a freebuild map yet so don't consider my comments to harshly because I don't have so much experience with it.
Well first the map had a very weak terraining.As the time passes I get more and more addicted to a so called "perfect terrain" and I slowly start to rase my standarts for a well terrained map.The thing that I didn't like was that the trees were placed "out of random" if one looks closly in the minimap he would see that some trees follow a path around the edges of the map like rail tracks.There is actually nothing wrong with densly packed forests but the trees you placed form a wall and there are none behind them and the ones that are infront of them aren't so much and the effect of a dense forrest is lost.Second the hills that you made weren't natural.A mountain doesn't suddenly stop to let a vast plain start.There are foothills which gradually equalise the terrain.The same is with the hills.Although I saw you have used the equalising tool it hardly stood out.Other things that were incorrect was the iron and stone mines.I didn't like how the terrain suddenly shifted into ore.It's like walking through a desert and suddenly encountering a large forrest.You should place some rocks and ore to prepare the traveler to the change in the terrain.The entire map gave out a square look all the trees and hills were placed sort of symetrically and that looks unnatural.As you mentioned the player cannot make wheat , apple or hoop farms due to the high terrain but you can't also make hunters posts because there are no deers in the map.You really shouldn't rush maps so much.Quality is always better than quantity.We have started BMC somewhere in july and you may not believe me but we have made over 20 maps but scraped more than half of them due to the bad looks or AI problem.Look at WarLord_Designs the guys worked on Minas Morgul for 6 months and fixed countless problems with the AI and when the map came out it was immediately added to the top ten because it was so good.
And last the story instructions you have given are far to little and the designer doesn't get a clear idea of the map.All you wrote was the warnings for the castle size.
But all in all as I compare you with your first map you are definately improving.And even though you post so much maps everysingle one of them has it's charm and improvements.You just have to learn to let go of some of the maps (you don't like) and then things will get a lot better.

Thanks BMC for the animals missing ;) I didn't really undesrtand those terrain problems so i don't know how to fix them and i am not stone addict and the tress will make a path i know but im too lazy to fix it as it takes lot of work and already making other map. I fix those animals :D
